Trayc Freeman

Trayc Freeman is a first year PhD student in the Social Foundations of Education program, working under Dr. Derrick Alridge. A native of Virginia Beach, VA, this will be her third degree from UVA, having earned her BA in African American Studies in 2015, and her M.Ed in Social Foundations in 2016. Trayc's research focuses on the history of segregated education and Black communities during the civil rights era and beyond.
